Israel enjoys huge political support in the West, and therefore there has been a lot of pressure both politically and through the mainstream media to prevent Israel from being banned from any competition/organisation. To be most effective any pressure needs to be focussed on just one or two events. My personal choice would be UEFA, as there is a greater chance of success than FIFA (with a forthcoming world cup in the US) and pressure/influence could be brought to bear on individual clubs and fans. Any ideas?

It seems that after the boycott of Eurovision by Ireland, Spain, Netherlands and Slovenia that possibly Eurovision is possibly the best competition to target for change, maybe individual broadcasting countries?

The BBC are still supporting Israel, and Germany have said they will boycott if Israel isn't allowed to compete,

Notice that the BBC broadcast the BAFTA's with a 4 hour delay, so that they could censor anything they disapproved of. They edited out an award winner saying "Free Palestine" - why would that be offensive? But kept in, a Tourette's sufferer shouting out the N word, when two black actors were on stage. It's fairly obvious that the BBC were more concerned and vigilant about anything that may upset zionist supporters of Israel, than causing real and justifiable offence to the black community......and all people opposed to racism.
