A central plank in their argument is to conflate zionism with judaism, and ironically portray anti zionism as racism against Jews. This is patently ridiculous, many jews are not zionists, and most zionists are actually christian evangelists..

Nevertheless expect a deluge of smears and scorn to be aimed at the Green party from both the mainstream media and many politicians. I am not optimistic that this vote will be enshrined in Green party policy, I suspect it will either be watered down or removed as the clamour and performative outrage from the pro Israel lobby hits its zenith. But at least it's a very small crack, a tiny price paid by the racist genocidal regime of Israel.
